Did you know the word "ENDURO", by definition, means "a long race"?  So, whether you are

a competitive runner, or run "long distance" simply for FUN and exercise, we encourage you to

                                                     Run ENDURO.

Run ENDURO is for those who want to run "a long race", who also want an alternative to

distance races on hard surfaces such as roads, streets, sidewalks or rubber track surfaces.

Running on natural surfaces is beneficial for youth and adult runners, especially those who like

to run / train year-round.  If you could benefit from or would enjoy "cross country" style running

on natural surfaces, we invite you to - - -

                                                     Run ENDURO.

A race distance that is too long for you might be considered too short by someone else. That's

why, when you Run ENDURO, you can choose the distance that is best for you.  A 5K race

may be too long for you at certain times of the year.  Or, 5K's may simply be too long for you to

enjoy regardless of the time of year.  So, a mile or two-mile race, on a natural surface, may better

suit your racing, training and/or exercise needs.  PLUS, when you Run ENDURO you can race

on the same course multiple times during the year, which provides a great opportunity for improving

and setting a new PR in a distance that is the most FUN (and beneficial) for YOU - - - personally.

So, invite your friends and training partners to Run ENDURO with you.  It's a Win - Win - Win.

Race on a natural surface (grass).  Choose the distance(s) that you enjoy the most.  Run on the

same course multiple times each year.  (Each course is certified by YES-Athletics for accuracy.)

And, at the same time, support a new YES-Athletics program that encourages kids to be active.

The YES-Athletics mission is to encourage kids (and adults) to have a strong personal desire

to live as healthy as possible for as long as possibleIt's a GREAT idea.

                            So, join us. -  -  -  Run ENDURO.  -  -  -  It's Natural.

General Information

Run ENDURO is like "cross country" with a few exceptions, which are as follows:

(1) Races for youth age groups are shorter than traditional youth "cross country" distances.

(2) Races for adults allow the adult runners to choose the distance they prefer, which range from

800 meters (½ mile) to 5,000 meters.  (Some courses are limited to a maximum of two miles.)

(3) When you Run ENDURO you're supporting a new YES-Athletics program.  Profit from your

entry fees is used to buy equipment to help expand the YES-Running program.  So, tell your

friends and training partners to Run ENDURO too, and help encourage even more kids to run.

(4) Run ENDURO is also organized for YES-Running as Certification Days throughout the year.

These "cross country type events" provide a fun way to certify individual improvement in endurance.

The following distances are run on "Endurance Certification Days" in the YES-Running program.

(NOTE:  Awards are not provided through the YES-Running program on Certification Days.

The start of each race is like "cross country" so everyone gets a fair start.)
